Tarot vs. Palm Reading — Which Should You Book?
It's one of the most common questions before a first visit: should I book a tarot reading or a palm reading? There's no wrong answer, but they're built to do slightly different things.
Palm reading looks at what's already written
Your hands carry patterns that don't change much over time — the shape of your palm, the lines that run through it, the way your fingers sit. A palm reading works with what's already there, offering insight into your character, tendencies, and the broader arc of your life. It tends to feel more like a character study: here's who you are, and here's the shape of the path you're already on.
If you're curious about yourself more than a specific situation — your strengths, your patterns, the "why" behind how you move through the world — palm reading is often the better starting point.
Tarot responds to where you are right now
The cards are different every time, because they're responding to a specific moment — your question, your energy, what's active in your life today. That makes tarot better suited to a specific situation: a decision you're weighing, a relationship you're trying to understand, a change that's already underway.
A Mini Tarot Reading is a good way to test the waters on something specific without committing to a longer session. A Full Tarot Reading goes deeper, moving across multiple areas of your life rather than one focused question.
Can you do both?
Yes — and a lot of returning clients do, usually starting with palm to get a sense of themselves, then coming back to tarot when something specific comes up later. There's no rule that says you have to pick one permanently. Some questions are better suited to the cards; some are better suited to your hands.
Not sure? Ask when you call
If you're still not sure which one fits what you're looking for, that's a completely normal thing to bring up when you call to book. A quick conversation about what's on your mind is usually enough to point you toward the right session — call or book online and Madeline can help you decide.
